What's the right thing to do?
Dear all, This week we'll delve into a controversial topic where morality is at issue. The following video is the real classroom shooting at Harvard and it comprises two episodes. We'll focus on the first one (about 30 min) and talk about questions below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBdfcR-8hEY Questions to be discussed: 1. What would you do in each of the four scenarios? What are your reasons or arguments to support your stance? 2. What do you think about the two moral reasoning? Are you more for"consequentialist" side of morality or "categorical" side? and Why? 3. When your judgment of right-thing-to-do go against law, what would you do? That's all for now. We'll talk more in our discussion. Stay happy!
