1. When it comes to typhoons, what pops up in your mind? Please tell us about the most impressive typhoon in your book.

2. Who do you know is in charge of the suspension of offices and schools under a typhoon warning? What’s your general opinion about this suspension?

3. According to Meteorological Act, only the Central Weather Bureau can issue hazardous weather warnings or forecasts to the public. Does it make sense to you? Why or why not?

4. Some people detest probability forecasts and would rather get a definite statement, regardless of its accuracy, about weather. What do you think about this idea?
